From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. pre-booked groups of guests can take part in a wide variety of guided tours and tastings.
From a cellar tour with a glass of sparkling wine for € 5.00 per person, to an entertaining guided tour and tasting of the entire range, which lasts for 3 hours and costs € 16.50 per person: at Rotkäppchen almost anything is possible. The service team at the sparkling wine cellars can accommodate all sorts of wishes from visitors.
At Rotkäppchen you can also view one of Freyburg’s big attractions, in the truest sense of the word – the largest carved pressure tank in Germany. The giant tank was constructed in 1896 from 25 oak trees. It has a capacity of 120,000 litres and is decorated with prized carvings.
Social life in and around Freyburg can also no longer be imagined without Rotkäppchen. With its atrium, one of the oldest industrial halls in Germany to be protected as a historical monument, the wine producer has a venue that is used not only for its own events, but also for a wide variety of other events. The red wine cellar, cellar theatre and the vaulted cellar offer further attractive rooms for meetings, seminars and private parties.
And of course sparkling wine is also available to buy at the Rotkäppchen cellars. The shop is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has a wide selection of sparkling wine gifts, accessories and naturally the entire range of Rotkäppchen sparkling wines ready and waiting.
Gift service, shipment of sparkling wine, special labels, guided tours in English, culinary events and evening and special packages available by arrangement.
